The ramé-hart Model 790 represents the most advanced and automated tool available. This system includes automated tilting, automated dispensing, high-speed video with the G1 Series GigE (Ethernet) camera (210 fps), environmental control from -50° to +300° C, overhead imaging, and oscillation hardware. Coupled with DROPimage Advanced software, this setup ships ready to measure static contact angle, dynamic contact angle, advancing and receding contact angle, contact angle hysteresis, surface energy, work of adhesion, surface tension, interfacial tension, surface dilatational elasticity and viscosity. The methods-based experiment design tool offers unlimited configurations for a wide variety of studies including wetting, roughness, absorption, spreading, cleanliness, and surface heterogeneity and characterization at ambient, chilled, or elevated temperatures.
