Visual Inspection
VS1000 is an advance visual inspection system for inspection of cosmetic defects after die-attach and wire bonding process. The visual inspection system provide superior quality image in terms of sharpness, clarity and high contrast. The integrated design can be easily adapted with 3Dvisual optical device. The 3D visual will enhance your inspection of micro packaging and find pitch device with capability to capture live image by CCD camera.
Automated Handling System
VS1000 integration with full automated system eliminates human contact with products and help to reduce fatigue in long inspection process. The mechanical handling system is capable to adapt to most of the packaging in market. Thus, the mechanical system provides the flexibility to achieve simple auto-conversion to suit various type of packaging products. The simple and reliable handling system will eliminate the tension and twist on leadframe to substrate that could cause wire bonding permanent damage. Network and Strip Map Data Management System
VS1000 software system is ready for network interface with host server in TCP/IP protocol and SECS(SEMI G84) (Optional). Networked communication of Strip-Map between equipments in an efficient, prompt and error-free manner thus enabling automated recall of reject maps in between FOL and EOL without operator intervention. It manage and control with strip ID in 2D matrix code. Registered into Map-Database in electronic map form after verification will allow fast and accurate recall of rejects maps thus facilitating defect review, analysis and verification. The networking system includes reject analysis and statistical reports for process improvement, also strip-map reports and Lot reports for traceability.

VS1000’s advance inspection system is made with precise mechanical components and high speed hybrid electronic axis controller and software to achieve fine coordinating system. The unique coordination will accurately travel without offset even under high magnification up to 500x. The software allows a programmable sub-viewing
capability of the concerning view for smaller FOV.

The advance 3D inspection provide an oblique angle of 25 to 55 degree in vertical and another 360 degree of rotating view direction. The system secures excellent image flatness with depth of focus for inspection of wire thickness, pitching and loop-height.

5 . J a m - F r a m e E l i m i n a t i o n
VS1000 mechanical handler is designed with seamless electronic interlock and close-loop system, resolving any potential continuous frame jam problems. The leadframe or substrate transportation from magazine until completion of the inspection process is constantly detected by various type of sensors. The close-loop system with these sensing signal provides feedback where it is applied to enhance the safety features ensuring your strips in constantly protected.

The design of XY indexing is emphasized in both reliability and accuracy, the XY indexer or table is driven with precision anti-backlash ballscrew and motion control by pulsing the motor to rotate in fine motion. The accuracy in indexing is important, especially during reject marking and high magnification inspection. This allow VS1000 to ensure no wrong marking occur during extreme micro or fine-pitch packaging under inspection.

The GUI software allows bonding diagram to be program as one of recipe, thus providing quick referencing for user or operator during inspection. The real-time live image and bonding diagram can be projected on the monitor at same time for comparisons.

8 . F O V M e a s u r i n g C a p a b i l i t y
A simple FOV measuring features gives users flexibility for simple linear measurement such as ball size, ball pitching, XY linear length, Die size, etc.
